  • What is endodontics?

Endodontics is a dental specialty that focuses on treating the interior of teeth, specifically the pulp and root canals. The most common endodontic procedure is root canal therapy, which is used to save teeth that are severely decayed or infected.
  • How do I know if I need a root canal?

Indicators that you may need a root canal include persistent tooth pain, sensitivity to temperature extremes, swelling, or a small bump on the gums near the affected tooth. However, it's important to note that some infections may not present any symptoms, which underscores the importance of regular dental check-ups.
  • What is a dental crown?

A dental crown is a customized cap designed to cover a tooth that has been damaged or weakened. It serves to restore the tooth's shape, size, strength, and appearance. Crowns are often used following root canal treatment, for large fillings, or in cases of tooth fracture.
  • What is a dental bridge?

A dental bridge is a prosthetic device used to replace one or more missing teeth. It typically consists of one or more artificial teeth that are held in place by crowns attached to the adjacent natural teeth or dental implants.
